Assisted Reproduction Treatment (ART) Co Funding Scheme

 Singapore government incentive for couple to undergo IVF.

The co-funding scheme covers in-vitro fertilisation (IVF)with or without intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI), and gamete intra-fallopian transfer(GIFT) which must be done in public hospitals. Please take note assisted conception program such as intra-Uterine Inseminationis (IUI) is not co-funded by the government.

Other than the funding received from the government, couples may use Medisave up to a certain limit to pay for the cost of the assisted reproduction treatment.

Details of the funding from Singapore government will depend on the citizenship status of the couples:

  • If the couples are all Singaporeans, the funding will be up to 75% of the total cost and cap at $6,300 for each cycle
  • If one of the husband and wife is a Singaporean and the partner is a Singapore Permanent Resident, the funding will be up to 55% of the total cost and cap at $4,600 for each cycle
  • If one of the husband of wife is a Singaporean and the partner is a foreigner, the funding will be up to 35% of the total cost and cap at $3,000 for each cycle

Note: The scheme only covers up to a maximum three cycles per patient.

Eligibility:

  1. Either you or your husband must be a Singapore Citizen at the start of the ART cycle;
  2. You have no more than one living child with your husband.
  3. You are below 40 years of age at the start of the cycle;
  4. You have been assessed by your doctor to have met the clinical requirements for the ART;
