Development of the baby
1. Baby's lip and eyebrows are now visible.
2. Baby's retina has formed, and he now has weak vision.
3. Below the gum, the germs of the teeth have started to develop.
Change to the expectant mother
1. Expectant mothers now look clumsy as their weights continue to increase.
2. The volume of the amniotic fluid continues to increase as the fetus and uterus continue to grow.
3. There will be some intermittent contraction of uterine. It is not a painful or regular contraction; it is an action taken by the body to prepare for the laboring or delivery.
