Uses of Child Development Account
The money in the Child Development Account cannot be withdrawn in cash. Withdrawal can be made via Interbank GIRO or NETS at Approved Institutions (AIs).The money in Child Development Account can be used for the following purposes at the Approved Institutions (AIs)
1. Child Care Centers, Kindergartens and Special education schools that have registered with Ministry of Education or the council for private Education
2. Medical Related Expenses such as Enhanced Vaccination Program at hospitals or clinics licensed under the private hospitals and medical clinics (PHMC).
3. Early Intervention Programmes registered with the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) or the Center For Enabled Living;
4. Licensed Pharmacies
5. Opitcal Shops
6. Assistive technology device providers
