Treatment For Hand, Foot and Mouth disease

Treatment of hand, foot and mouth disease

At the moment, there is no specific treatment forHFMD. However, doctors can give treatment to relieve the symptoms of this disease.

Treatment with antibiotics has been not effective and is not indicated. Other than taking the medicine given by the doctors to relieve the pain or fever, parents are advised to give the affected child plenty of water or fluid throughout the day and may consider switching to formula milk as diet as that will be easy for the affected child to swallow.
